Discussion

literary (asker) Feb 28, 2013:
co właściwie znaczy tu polskie słowo "umownie"?
literary (asker) Feb 28, 2013:
także:
"technologię można przedstawić umownie następującymi etapami" (i dalej podane te etapy)
literary (asker) Feb 28, 2013:
wprowadzona przez autorów danej pracy, całkiem nowa
LilianNekipelov Feb 26, 2013:
It is not enough context. Could you provide more context, please. At least the whole sentence in which you want to use it.

has been tentatively named B-estimation
has been provisionally named B-estimation
has been given the name B-estimation
we have called the new method B-estimation

Many other possibilities, depending on context. Insufficient context is a very common problem with KudoZ questions.

or possibly

for the sake of argument
Note from asker:
yes, "prowizorycznie" is what I was to add at this moment
Peer comment(s):

agree Remolek : Good point about convention. For the same reason I'd opt for "is (here) referred to as" - mark "nazwana" vs "nazYwana", which suggests that the authors coin a new term in the very paper.

Thank you. It should also be said that depending on the context a past tense might be necessary here.
