Discussion

Terry Richards May 29, 2018:
Not control panels I think it's a circuit breaker panel. One panel with multiple breakers powering multiple services. How big is this boat?
B D Finch (asker) May 28, 2018:
@Phil I just assumed that it being singular was an error. However, I now think I should check with the client.
philgoddard May 28, 2018:
No It's 'du tableau', singular.
I think "l’ensemble du tableau des servitudes du bord" may mean "all online services/systems".

electrical panel

Switchboard is the correct meaning, I think, but yachties tend to talk about the "electrical panel" onboard, as in "power from the dock will fully supply the onboard electrical panel."

Even better would be "house electrical panel" in fact.

I'm quit new to this and not sure if this is where I should comment on the glossary suggestion, but I found that the initial suggestion was not something you would ever here in the marine industry in which I work on a number of documents, not as a translation for tableau des servitudes de bord, in any case, which is quite a straightforward term. I think onboard electrical panel is closer to the original sense.
Example sentence:

...will fully supply the onboard electrical panel
