The other one will be packed in the parts bag as spare parts

: Yes, not at all "native EN"! Some kind of plate that directs the flow in the appropriate direction. In this instance, it looks like there are 2 (different shapes?) and the appropriate one has to be fitted; but it comes down to the same thing!

: Yes, but the problem is there are 2 'wind pads' (a nonsense term!), one of which is NOT for 'aspiration'! And in addition, neither wind pad actually 'sucks' anything — they are a kind of 'flap' that directs where the exhaust air blows.

There are two "wind pads" but only one is installed at a time. (either A or B). Also, it's good to know that "panneau d'aspiration" is Very different from "Aspirateur". It is just a pad through which air passes. A"wind pad" :-)
