French term

ADN

French to English Tech/Engineering Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Engineering transcript of studies
Management de projet (ADN)

This is a subject on the fourth year of an engineering degree at ESIEA, which has consisted of modules in business, networks, digital design etc. All I can find is DNA, which would make no sense in terms of the other subjects studied. This part of the long list of modules begins:

* Conception et architectures d'applications orientées objet
* Travaux pratiques de réseaux informatique
* Anglais : Selection and recruitment
* Management de projet (ADN)
etc, etc...

Thanks for your support Chris matey (if I may) – if a GP doesn't know what's wrong with you, s/he refers you to a specialist, and this is kind of what we're doing here: "I don't know, I can't know".
AllegroTrans Aug 26, 2023:
@ Conor Your approach is OK. Certainly don't guess. I am presuming Lara has researched the English section of the Engineering School's website and not found anything to help.
Conor McAuley Aug 26, 2023:
Some people here will think that what I'm going to suggest is lazy and unprofessional, but I reckon that there's absolutely nothing wrong with putting "ADN [unknown abbreviation]".

Beyond that, flag it or ring the school, otherwise I think you'll be guessing.

And lastly, I'm not too sure that universities or potential employers look at these things in great detail, so don't sweat...the small stuff!

Common sense approach.

HTH.

@ Conor Do you think that one of these answers is more likely? Or do you mean that it would be correct to flag this to the client.? I didn't know what else to do.
Conor McAuley Aug 26, 2023:
LOL!
AllegroTrans Aug 25, 2023:
Touché!
Conor McAuley Aug 25, 2023:
It's a swordfight in the dark!
Lara Barnett (asker) Aug 25, 2023:
@ Chloe Thanks, yes, it could be. The problem is, there is no evidence in the context about which of these three suggestions would work. I have submitted the translation and flagged this up with the client.
Thanks for your assistance.

I thought it could be a certification acronym for Agile, a project management tool?
Lara Barnett (asker) Aug 25, 2023:
@ Samuel & Conor I think I will need to flag this to the client. Your contribution is much appreciated. Thank you for your help. I will be closing question.

Atelier de Design Numérique peut-être ? (sans certitude)
Conor McAuley Aug 25, 2023:
Yes, ESIEA is in Paris, so it's probably a decent bet.
Conor McAuley Aug 25, 2023:
My initial thought... ...was that the A would be architecture for sure, but then a quick a quick search turned up ADN Construction, based in Paris (is the school in Paris?):

https://www.adnconstruction.org/

So maybe project management work experience goes on at that company/in conjunction with that company.

Just a theory.

Why not just ring the school and ask them?
