Discussion

Norskpro May 9, 2013:
Do you think it could be blood count?
Helen Johnson (asker) May 9, 2013:
In case it provides assistance Randomly-chosen example from a Google document (pdf) where this word is used: Pga. påvirkede koronartal nyt medicinsk tilsyn ved HU-læge. Samlet
vurdering: Patienten har svær nyreinsufficiens og klinisk pneumoni. Der fortsættes med behandling af infektion og nyreinsufficiens. Familien er underrettet og ønsker ikke genoplivning ved hjertestop.
David Young (X) May 9, 2013:
Another word for blood pressure? This is not an area I'm strong in, except that I had a coronary 3 years ago and I go to regular tests. I have regular blood tests for cholesterol, liver function, blood suger etc and my blood pressure is checked. Most of the Google hits I get for "koronartal" relate to testing for diabetes and when I google "diabetes testing" in English, blood pressure is one of the primary issues that are monitored. It's the only "coronary count" I know of, unless one is talking about the number of heart attacks a patient has had and that doesn't seem to be the case here.

This seems to be the American expression, but it may be different in the UK.
