I've pretty much asked this question before, but I'm just not sure of the answer. The explanation is: Se acuerda y conviene que si en el momento del siniestro existiese un exceso de capital asegurado en una o varias partidas de la póliza, exceptuando las existencias, tal exceso podrá aplicarse a otras partidas que resulten insuficientemente aseguradas.
I understand the meaning, but I can't seem to find a good term in English. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
