I ran a search for "quantitative discount" and found quite a few examples. However, it seems a rather long-winded way to say "bulk/quantity discount"... so I look for a definition online and it redirects me to "quantity discount", which is what I would normally use. Basically, I just need to know if that is what it is, or if there is a difference. There is no useful context to go by, as it appears in an alphabetical list:
"...

volume discount
A volume discount is a financial incentive to encourage individuals or businesses to purchase goods in multiple units or in large quantities. The seller or manufacturer rewards those buying in bulk by providing a reduced price for each good or group of goods.

Note from asker:
So it's just the same as "descuento por volumen", which is the form I'm used to. I think the text may have been translated into Spanish from Italian, as some Italian phrases appear later in the list. |
