Contexto:
El tercer corte lateral (Diesel-2) pasa por el despojador C-3, una corriente de Diesel pasa por el intercambiador E-4 para luego regresar a la columna como reflujo interno; la otra corriente de Diesel pasa por los intercambiadores E-3A, por el aerorefrigerante E-10, luego se envía a un sistema de deshidratación (coalescedor y filtro de sal), para luego, finalmente, ser enviado a su tanque de almacenamiento.

Podría ser esto, que es más una "cualidad" de ser coalescedor (adjetivo), o el filtro que te dice Oso (sustantivo). Verdaderamente no estoy segura cuál de los dos aplica en este caso.
