den englischen Begriff Cheesecloth gibt es auch in Deutsch, Käsetuch, Gaze, aber gibt es vielleicht einen anderen, ansprechenderen Begriff?
Könnte man Bambula-Baumwolle verwenden?
Das habe ich gelesen, aber die "Google-Treffer" sind nicht sehr hoch.

"bambula" sagt m.E. auch nichts über die Art des Stoffs aus, nur über die Optik. Mir ist auch schon "bambula de seda" untergekommen. LG

Explanation:
Das ist der Fachbegriff. Weiß ich sicher, weil ich schon unzählige Kochbücher übersetzt habe. Klingt auch nicht so doof wie Tuch etc.
