Ensayos de resistencia estática
En la segunda fase del estudio procedimos a realizar un ensayo de resistencia estática a 24 de los 50 mosquetones, acorde a las especificaciones de la norma EN12275:2013 (apartado 5.3.2.1), eligiendo dentro del rango permitido por la norma una velocidad de carga de 35 mm por minuto.
Los resultados obtenidos fueron realmente sorprendentes, pues los mosquetones no solo pasaron la resistencia mínima de seguridad que exige la norma (20kN en eje principal cerrado), sino que superaron con creces la resistencia en su eje longitudinal o principal marcada por el fabricante, lo que nos indica que la prueba de impacto realizada anteriormente no alteró la resisten cia de estos mosquetones

Static strength test
In the second stage of research, 24 of the 50 carabiners went through a static strength test, according to the EN 12275:2013 (part 5.3.2.1) standard. The loading speed selected was 35mm per minute as it is under the standard. The results were really incredible, as the carabiners passed the minimum safety strength which is required on the standard (20kN on the principal closed axis), moreover, the carabiners passed the strength test on the main axis as it is designated by the manufacturer, which proved that the impact on the previous test did
not change the strength of these carabiners.
