一、 為能將性別觀念整合至政策發展與執行過程，重視婦女對健康的需求，自2009年起全面要求中長程個案計畫與法律案均需進行性別影響評估作業，至2012年止，計有36項中長程個案計畫與37項法律案均完成性別影響評估作業，執行率100%。
二、 每年更新公布「性別統計」指標，並回饋給各業務單位進行「性別分析」，將其應用於施政政策中，以降低產婦死亡率為例，應用性別統計並分析原因，積極建構優質之生育保健服務體系政策，使懷孕婦女於孕前、孕期及生產過程能接受「全人照護」為核心的孕產期生育保健服務網絡，使我國孕產婦死亡率亦由1990年12.2‰，降至2011年5.0‰，成效卓越。		Translation - English
1. To make it possible to integrate the gender concept into the development and execution of policies, emphasis is placed on women’s health needs. Since 2009, all mid- and long-term projects and legal cases have been comprehensively required to undergo gender impact assessment. By 2012, a total of 36 mid- and long-term projects and 37 legal cases had completed gender impact assessment, which signifies a 100% execution rate.
2. The indicators of “gender statistics” are updated and announced annually; then they are given to various units for conducting “gender analysis” and applying them to policies and policy implementation. Take reducing maternal mortality rate for instance; gender statistics is applied and the causes analyzed to actively construct a high-quality reproductive health care service system which allows pregnant women to access a reproductive health care network that focuses on “holistic health care” before they are pregnant, as well as during their pregnancy and childbirth. Such a network reduced the maternal mortality rate in Taiwan from 12.2‰ in 1990 to 5.0‰ in 2011, indicating a great achievement.
