How easy is it to learn?

Easy to learn and super useful.

AsikoCh . SmartCAT helps me to translate the texts very fast and to make translations better. In comparison with other CAT tools, SmartCAT is very easy to use. In addition, SmartCAT offers the tools for effective post-editing of machine translation and automated quality control.

Elena Ivanova . SmartCat is extremly easy to use! It's enough to participate in a webinar organized by the SmartCat team to learn the way of its functionning. Moreover, its technical support is proactive and able to answer any question 24/7.
SmartCat is the first TM I use, but I'm not going to change it for smth else. It helps me to spend less time and translate more than ever. And it is free for freelancers!
I really like this tool and recomend it to everyone!

Augusto1 . Very easy to use, even for unexperienced translators. It's a pleasure working with it. Customer service is very responsive, anyway. It is almost completely free, that's why I put 4 stars and not 5.

Very easy to learn, access from anywhere and free for basic functions

Dmitry Ganchev . It's been the first CAT tool I've ever used and it took me only a couple of days to get used to it.
Probably it has fewer functions and settings compared to other competitors but it's free to start and very cheap for MT.
Sure, there are some wrinkles to iron though the support is very fast and helps in no time, for some critical problems the system updated merely every 2 weeks.
At the moment SmartCAT is the best money-value choice for me
