Trados Studio Editor layout? Is there a way to change it?

Dear colleagues,
I have worked with Trados for many years and I am very used to the "traditional" layout, original segment above, translated segment below...Is there a way to change the Trados Studio editor layout so that it resembles the layout of previous versions?
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards,
Noemí

AFAIK, the only concession to horizontality in Studio is found in the XLIFF Converter for MS Office, an optional plugin that was an afterthought (it was released almost one year after Studio 2009).

Currently, there's no way to change the Editor layout.
There has been an ongoing discussion on this matter in this Proz thread.

Any changes you make in the target fields in the document created by XLIFF Converter are entered in your translation in Studio after running an export opertation. Even so, I'd much rather prefer being able to click a button in Editor to switch to a top-bottom layout, especially on translations with complex sentence structures, where it can be easy to occasionally miss a word with the side-by-side layout.

Thank you very much for your answers! I will try the Converter
I hope they include this option in future versions! (I will vote for it)
