Very odd question | Apr 25, 2023 |
What a weird question. That is not how a business works. If you run a business, you don't use a payment from a client to pay for something, you just do what is necessary to run your business. If a certain expense depends on the payment of a single invoice, I don't think that is an example of good entrepreneurship.

Paying my bills, putting food on my table and helping out my children financially are not dependent at all on the last payment received from a client…

I don't even know how much the last payment comes to, and won't know until the end of the month when I look at my accounts. However I'm planning to invest the money left over from everyday expenses in an environment-friendly firm. I don't know exactly what yet, but I'm also transferring my money to a bank that doesn't invest in oil, and I'll be asking them for suggestions. I'm also looking into the Team for the Planet which invests in such ventures.

oops misread question | Apr 25, 2023 |
I thought the "first" payment and thought back to early days! The last payment received is sitting in the bank and will stay there until there are bills or taxes to be paid. The first on the list is the accountant's bill, next month the car road tax ....
