这我倒没注意到. But the live performance does sound very much like the studio recording. So I think you might be right.
BTW, looking at Ralph Lauren's clothing design for the American team more closely, the basic color scheme is still red, white, and blue. The magenta and navy blue colors are mostly in the trim.

It seems like the people in charge have already made the switch officially from "Friendlies" to "Fuwa". In my opinion it certainly wasn't something that warranted a "national academic debate/discussion". A few PR experts with a good command of English should have easily come up with such a solution to remedy the situation. Isn't the idea of "democracy" being carried a bit too far?

也许是推那些大鼓还需要一点力气. 想不到解放初期 "妇女能够顶起半边天" 的意识也渐渐淡漠了.
