Increased number of visitors to profile

Since last week, the number of visitors to my profile has increased significantly. I would take this as a positive thing if visitors from two locations in particular hadn't been returning to my profile time and time again. Does anyone know what this means?

Yes, it happened to me, too. When a visitor visits a profile too many times (e.g. more than 20 times), it usually never brings a job you would want to accept. Plus most of the time they are either crawler bots or visitors who want you to register to different sites and platforms and accounts (to collect your data or name/CV) etc. This is what I have experienced.

You are welcome, Abby. I didn't fix it. It stopped.
Whether it was fixed or it stopped by itself. I don't know.
Maybe I don't see them any more because they are filtered as search engine visitors.
