Catalan term or phrase: s’escau
I understand this to mean "if the following case occurs" but there appears to be no following case. Could it mean something like : "if the other case occurs"?
"Si entre el dia d’inici del producte i la data d’observació final, el valor a tancament oficial ha sobrepassat el 130% del seu valor inicial, el client percebrà un cupó d’un 8% i, si s’escau, un cupó igual al 100% de la devaluació de l’índex entre el preu inicial i el preu final."

The meaning here is "if applicable"

If the index has risen over a certain amount the customer receives X.

If it drops "devaluació de l’índex" the customer receives Y.

The original should really deal with both possibilities in separate sentence or paragraphs.

I take it your transalating the "condiciones generals i particulars" of an index-linked deposit etc....
