ice creams Explanation: Indeed it is odd, Jeanne... "gelats" is clearly "ice creams" in Catalan. As a noun, there is no "gelat" which is "no comestible" in Catalan. Of course you have "gelat" as an adjective, meaning "frozen", but it does not count, in my opinion...
