I have seen two terms being used for "mail alias"
1. poštovní alias
2. e-mailový alias
The first one is using Czech word, however, the second one seems to be more frequently used. Any preferences?

Explanation:
Nedávno jsem to někomu překládal, a nevrátili mi to.

Díky, nakonec jsem zvolila e-mailový alias, neb jsem také stejný termín našla v dokumentu, který se k aplikaci vztahoval.

Přesnější překlad.
V angličtině je se používá mail alias i e-mail alias. Na českém internetu jsou taktéž oba pojmy. Pravděpodobně se oba budou vztahovat k e-mailu, ale proč při překladu o toto rozlišení přicházet? (Může jít koneckonců i o jiný typ messaging systému než e-mail, ne?)
