ماهیت giveaway به نظرم با جایزه، پاداش و انعام متفاوته.
giveaway هدیه‌ایه که با اهداف تبلیغاتی داده میشه و معمولاً براش قرعه‌کشی میشه. مثل این‌هایی که در اینستاگرام و یوتیوب بین دنبال‌کنندگان صفحه‌شون قرعه‌کشی می‌کنند و به یک یا چند نفر گوشی تلفن همراه هدیه می‌دهند.
به نظرم «جایزه قرعه‌کشی تبلیغاتی» معادل مناسب‌تریه، چون حتی «هدیه تبلیغاتی» هم احتمالاً با اشانتیون اشتباه گرفته میشه. البته giveaway کاربردی دقیقاً به همین معنی «اشانتیون» یا «هدیه تبلیغاتی» هم داره در زبان انگلیسی، منتهی در بافتی که بهش اشاره کردید با این تفاوت جزئی که اشاره کردم استفاده میشه. البته این روزها که خیلی‌ها همون giveaway انگلیسی رو استفاده می‌کنند و کسی زحمت ترجمه کردن این کلمه رو به خودش نمی‌ده
