Does anyone have a better translation that "putain de merde" ? And more importantly, is there a comparable sms speak for the English "FFS" in French? This is for translating an advert / web site, only the initials are used in English, I want to get the humour across if possible !

Explanation:

Enfin, tmtc (tu m'emmerdes tu sais)

Comme d'habitude, tout dépend du contexte 🤭

neutral  Tony M: FFS is really quite different from WTF? FFS conveys more the same idea s "Oh, for God's sake..."

  -> Yes, my mistake.

disagree  Eliza Hall: I'm with Tony on this. FFS = "oh for god's sake, how annoying, how absurd." Surprised indignation and annoyance at a situation, action, etc.
14 hrs
  -> Wrote WTF but thought FFS, somewhat close in this context.

Explanation:
I have seen this (short for 'putain') used by youngsters.
'Putain' is often used in similar ways to FFS, as a kind of 'tag':
"Pourquoi il a fait ça, putain ?!"
"Putain, il ne manquaiit plus que ça !"
