Explanation:
Il ne me paraît pas y avoir d’idée de « au cas par cas » dans le TS [qui se traduirait alors par « individually » ou « on an individual basis »] ... J’utiliserais « occasionnellement » ou « de façon occasionnelle » si « de temps en temps » vous semble inapproprié ici.
Ex. :
… ne doit pas utiliser à ces fins des locaux autres que ceux spécifiés dans sa licence ou ceux pouvant être approuvés par écrit de façon occasionnelle par l'Autorité.

neutral  Germaine: Je retiendrais plutôt "le cas échéant" pour renforcer "l'approbation" et établir, comme vous le soulignez, que ce n'est pas "selon le cas" (l'un ou l'autre). Sinon, "à l'occasion" m'aurait paru un meilleur choix que "occasionnellement", etc.
