As for your 3rd instance, I believe your proposed transalation is wrong, as it fails to correctly take into account the EN word order — although the wider context is missing to clarify that.
The EN word order given "control cabinet pedestal angle steel" would normally be understood as "control cabinet pedestal [made from] angle steel" — it's a little difficult otherwise to see why they would be specifying some piece of 'angle steel' as being specifically 'from the control cabinet'?
In which case, I'd suggest you might want to consider something along the lines of "socle d’armoire de commande en cornière en acier". Do bear in mind, though that 'angle steel' can be more than a simple 'cornière' (= L shaped); in particular, it could well be U-shaped, hence 'profilé' might be a safer bet.
