dièse Explanation: I'm pretty sure this is just referring to the typographic symbol, so #Total Quite WHY they should choose to express it this way is anybody's guess... but I don't think that will affect the ytanslation! Originally, the # symbol in US parlance used to indicate an ordinal number, but for a long time now that usage has widened so that it often represents no more than simply 'no.' -- and from there, it is only a small step to 'some numerical value' and hence "quantity' -- so that might be the notion here, since we seem to be talking about counting and presumably inventory? |
