disagree  Catherine Muir: Meaning has evolved since 1913, especially in America, where this term is used within Jewish community.

disagree  Catherine Muir: In modern usage, among American Jews, meaning is not so strong as 'wicked'. A jocular term for a (perhaps lovable) loser.

Explanation:
No-goodniks: lowlife/ no-good (merriam)
Secara harfiah munkin "orang rendahan" tapi karena konteksnya sedang kesal, padanan frasa diatas cukup sesuai menurut saya.

-> I believe if translated completely it will mean "kamu sebaiknya lari, (dasar) anak berandal yang tidak tahu di untung. Punk=anak berandal. "little" is omitted. This is more idiomatic dan literal. what say you?

kapiran

Explanation:
Di KBBI:

ka·pi·ran Jw a tidak terurus; telantar; tidak beroleh apa-apa; sia-sia.

Hubungannya? Orang kapiran biasanya cuma bikin masalah, orang tak berguna. Cuma sedikit yang dapat menjadi orang berguna.

Hal ini karena makna yang saya tangkap ketika dulu masih sering baca novel2 bule, no-goodnik ini kira2 bermakna orang yang cuma bikin repot, tak bisa diharapkan.

Cari2, eh ketemu pendukung:

disagree  Catherine Muir: 'No-goodnik' is a noun, i.e., "He's just a no-goodnik." Kapiran is an adjective. 'Orang kapiran' would be linguistically correct but not equivalent in meaning.
