Trudno powiedzieć, ale może to wynika ze specyfiki języka, że takie rzeczy nie brzmią zbyt dobrze.

Siedzi inżynier i klei coś klejem. Klej mu się ciągnie i go to wkurza. I co powie? "Cholera, nie mogę pozbyć się tych anielskich włosów?".

Nie. Powie: "Nie wiem jak zrobić, żeby mi się te nitki tak nie ciągnęły".

Dla uzyskania lepszej dokładności aplikacji kleju termotopliwego i do ograniczania zjawiska tzw. „anielskich włosów”, niektóre modele dysz posiadają wkład kapilarny. Kapilara jest to rurka o małej średnicy wewnętrznej i cienkiej grubości ściany.

Angel Hair - Fine threads of adhesive caused by incomplete transfer of the adhesive mass from applicator to substrate, followed by elongation of the connecting bridges.

May be caused by improper nozzle shutoff with a high viscosity adhesive.


Stringing - A defect in adhesive application characterized by hair-like fibers of adhesive emanating from the trailing edge of the bead. Stringing may produce continuous fibers attached to the nozzle. It is most often caused by the gun temperature being too cold.
