zasypać/zasypywać informacją, korzyściami (z zakupu)

Explanation:
Most everyone agrees that listening to your prospect is the best path to a sale. But many people that I observe on a daily basis practice the “show up & throw up” technique of selling; they think their job is to verbally download every last feature and benefit of their product, and hope while they are talking (i.e. not listening), something they say will click and the prospect will say YES!

This NEVER works… - https://www.bethazor.com/blog/vulnerability-strength/

Nie chodzi o to, by zasypywać klientów suchymi danymi.

I’m sure you’ve run into a bunch of “show up and throw up sales people” in your lifetime.

“Show up and throw up selling” is often chastised in the private sector. That’s when a salesperson promotes themselves and their company or spews meaningless information, stats, and figures. They talk a lot and say very little. They tell stories that make them feel good. Their focus is all wrong. It’s upside-down, inside-out and backwards.

There's a phrased in the sales world: “show up and throw up”.

It means that as a salesperson, if you don't take time to relate to your potential customer, to get to know them and their needs…

If you just jump right in and hit them with your cheesy, canned sales presentation right off the bat…
