XXX requires that all team members (including managers) be wearing gloves at all times while working (except while washing hands and washing dishes), due to covid-19. However, they are aware that some markets are experiencing a shortage of gloves due to limited DC supply so this informational question will be utilized to assess this standard at this time. Once the glove shortage is resolved, XXX will let us know when this standard can be assessed under the scored question 4.2.1.
Until further notice, if you observe that FOH team members or BOH (non-food handler) team members are not wearing gloves cite under this question. Bring this to the Manager’s / PIC’s attention and seek to understand why they are not wearing gloves. Depending on their response, select the appropriate picklist to help Focus understand if the reason for not wearing gloves was due to a DC shortage or not.
Important! Food safety glove use requirements are still to be assessed under the appropriate scored question. This question should only be used to assess the Covid-19 glove use requirements.
