Academic and applied courses differ in the balance between essential concepts and additional material, and in the balance between theory and application. https://porthigh.dsbn.org/student-services/guidance/applied-... Por otra parte, no creo que se refiera a asignaturas básicas u obligatorias; si fuera el caso, se usaría el término "core": CORE COURSE OF STUDY Also called core curriculum, core course of study refers to a series or selection of courses that all students are required to complete before they can move on to the next level in their education or earn a diploma. https://www.edglossary.org/core-course-of-study/ https://porthigh.dsbn.org/student-services/guidance/applied-vs-academic-courses https://www.edglossary.org/core-course-of-study/ |
