Creo que no suena bien una traducción literal, en parte porque "Liceo", en español, tiene otras connotaciones. Lo que implica es una paraíso racional, académico. El Liceo está asociado sobre todo con la corriente aristotélica, y se diferencia claramente de la Academia platónica; así que me parece que conviene especificar.

neutral  Charles Davis: It seems ungracious and pedantic of me to question this answer when you have so kindly agreed with mine, but I think Empyrean, the highest realm of fire, doesn't capture the idea of pure logic and rationalism implicit (for me) in "Lyceum".

  -> I largely agree with you Charles - certainly the fire aspect doesn't fit well. What I was trying to point towards was the outer transcendent sphere of the Prime Mover.
