¿Qué se entiende por the boom of freighters? ¿Algún tipo de costumbre en los puertos?
No entiendo muy bien que los protagonistas de la historia salgan a ver a los cargueros hacer ruido ¿para evitar a la patrulla de la costa? A ver si alguien puede ayudarme. Gracias.

neutral  JohnMcDove: No estoy muy seguro... Yo entiendo que tenían que aprovechar la actividad de los cargueros, porque si no, los japoneses los descubrirían. El "y" de la traducción entiendo que debería ser "porque si no..." (No quieren ser atrapados por los japoneses...)
