Explanation:
The French decided a few years ago to introduce the Anglo-Am. or 'Anglo-Saxon' idea of 'le Trust', though IMO 'usufruit' had been a ready-made package. BTW, usfruct does not exist in English Common law vs. a life interest or life tenancy, rather in Scots Roman civil law a.k.a liferent or in the French-influenced law of the US Fed. State of Louisana.

The opposite is 'nuda propiedad', namely the reversionayt title or remander.
