disagree  Mario Muchacho: Queer, as part of the spectrum, is a sexual orientation itself. It is different from just gay or lesbian, as reassured by the term LGBTQ, which used to be just LGBT before.

disagree  Samuel Sebastian Holden Bramah: Queer (as a "regular" term, not an "insult") has come a long way since meaning "homosexual" in the last 50 years. I do agree with your rendering of "questioning" but "cuestionando(se)" would be fine too.
