in-line No synonym - too technical Explanation: From Kao Ming link; "The capabilities for HIS are as varied as the machine capacities, with many configurations available, including 40- or 50-taper, inline drive, built-in drive, geared-head,high speed mold making and more." Seems to have to do with machine tapers (see wikipedia link), not sure there's a synonym, it's pretty specialized already. May have to make do with "in-line driver machine". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 57 mins (2011-10-22 17:11:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Correction: "in-line drive machine". in-line The In-Line Machine processes a single frame of tooling through the dip molding process. Explanation: In-Line Machines are the most basic of the machine styles. The In-Line Machine processes a single frame of tooling through the dip molding process. As a "low volume" machine, it is ideal for custom parts, prototyping, products requiring finishing, and low volume runs. The major components include an oven, a transfer rack, up to three dip stations, a quench station, and a mold release station. These components function to complete the dip molding process, and are controlled by PLC or PC control for precise repeatability. |
