English term or phrase: truck automover
I’m translating a presentation about a company’s results for 2009. The company makes refrigeration units for trucks and trailers.
One of the slides reads like this:

Workplace Improvements
• TK Safe program implemented on Truck, Trailer and Evaporator assembly lines
• Assembly line automation Truck and Trailer assembly (4.7 million manual pushes eliminated since installation).

• UTX integration onto truck line – removal of manual push of units to truck automover & improvement of lifting devices
• Sprinkler system extended to cover entire manufacturing facility.

I can’t quite make out what ‘’truck automover’’ refers to in the text above. Would this be a piece of equipment that moves things along the assembly line?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Selected answer:yes, some sort of dolly to move trucks along the line
Explanation:
Since your context is a truck assembly line (or at least adding the chillers onto the truck bodies), I would say this is some sort of carrying device to move the trucks along the line from station to station.
