English term or phrase: slight right angle
I'm translating a statement of someone involved in a road traffic collision. He and the vehicle that collided with him were both intending to make a right turn. This driver felt a slight impact on the left side of his vehicle. Stopped and got out and went to see the other vehicle:

"The position of that vehicle was at a slight right angle with its offside wheels firmly in the dedicated right turn lane by at least a couple of feet.
The nearside of the vehicle was still in the single lane of traffic.
I cannot recall if that vehicle was indicating a right turn but its position indicated to me that it had moved out to the right from the nearside lane into the dedicated right turn lane."

I'm confused because the right angle cannot be "slight", it's a 90 degree angle; unless they mean it was at a slight angle as if turning right. How do you understand it?

Selected answer:(slight) angle
Explanation:
I've read the fragment a number of times and I'm sure I would write: 'The vehicle was positioned at a slight/an angle with its offside wheels...'.

You're right of course, a right angle is 90º. 'Slight' right angles don't exist!
