Flemish term or phrase: stormbek
This appears in a commercial lease, specifically under the clause listing the shared/common expenses to which the tenant must contribute:

"- onderhoud ***stormbekken*** en afwatering buiten"

catch basin
Explanation:
Depending on the context the term is either catch basin or storm drain. Catch basin is usually the collection point on a storm drain system and which fills first, thereafter overflowing into the storm drain system and then into natural drainage features.

A catch basin is an inlet to the storm drain system
that typically includes a grate where stormwa-
ter enters the catch basin and a basin to capture
sediment, debris, and associated pollutants. The
purpose of the basin is to prevent the downstream
pipes from becoming clogged and to prevent
sediment and debris from being discharged into
receiving waters. Many catch basins are installed
with a downturned elbow or tee to trap floatable
material. Storm drain inlets that do not contain
basins and/or outlet traps are not effective in
removing pollutants from stormwater

storm basin

Explanation:
I think "bekken" is singular, so basin. Not the plural of "bek"

I wonder if this is a good internet reference:
And, there's no escape in sight. Along with the rest of the Atlantic storm basin, the United States likely has entered a long period of continuous active hurricane seasons

Rainwater will be collected in a storm basin dimensioned to regulate the flows discharged into the natural environment. This basin, installed at the northeast of the center, will supply the inerting installation for Special Industrial Wastes and will provide the firefighting reserve.

The sneaks had hidden this answer by writing storm bassin instead of storm basin. Anyway, the site probably isn\'t written by a native English speaker

soakaway

Explanation:
This sounds like a soakaway, although I am not 100% familiar with the Dutch term. Maybe someone else would like to confirm or deny... Here's a definition of a 'soakaway':

-> "A soakaway is simply a hole in the ground filled with rubble and coarse stone with a drainage pipe laid to it removing surface (rain) water from other areas. The soil in which the soakaway is placed must be granular with good drainage properties. It is pointless sinking a soakaway in clay."
http://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/frenchdrains.htm

-> "Soakaways are probably the most common form of surface water disposal and are usually suitable for areas less than 100m2. Soakaways are generally formed from square or circular pits, filled with rubble or lined with dry jointed masonry or perforated concrete ring units.

Soakaways serving larger areas are generally lined pits, trench type soakaways or constructed from specialist proprietary units. It should be expected that a domestic rubble filled soakaway may need to be renewed about every ten years."
