Flemish term or phrase: epuren
I need to translate a diploma of a technical engineer. In one point it reads: "tekenen, epuren, projecten".
What is epuren and can someone give me the translation into English of this term. It is a Flemish diploma.

Thanks in advance!

Explanation:
Response from Vreeburg seems to be logical.
In old times, a Dutch subject was called "projectietekenen" (European vs American projection etc.) i.e.(roughly) drawing (front, rear, side view; or elevations, plan and sectional viewa.

making a working drawing

Explanation:
Waarschijnlijk iets met grafisch:
Epure (fr) Dessin ou trait qui donne l'élévation, le plan et le profil d'une figure (projetée avec les cotes précisant ses dimensions

Of anders iets met wiskunde, maar dan kom ik er niet echt uit...

refining/amending

Explanation:
épurer is the French word meaning 'to purify' or 'to refine'
I think in this context it may mean the refinement of the original drawings, i.e. when amendments to the original drawings are made prior to the projects actually being carried out.
