risks to Explanation: It refer to the risk of something happening to [the object] It is not risks caused by [the object] (= risks from), which would be expressed differently in FR. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2019-10-04 16:07:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Though as Ben says, this would not be the most natural way of expressing it in EN, and 'risks associated with...' or 'risks involving...' might be more suitable. I take Phil's point about its being singular, but depending on exactly how it is being used, it is not unusual for FR to use the singular in this sort of construction where EN might use a more generalized plural. |
