outgoing feed Explanation: but in practice, 'output' is usually all you need, unless there is some specific need to differentiate; it's a subtle technical point... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 41 mins (2012-11-21 20:48:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 'output' is often used when referring to the physical thing: you can plug something in to an output. Whereas 'outgoing feed' is perhaps slightly more the notion of 'something that is leaving to go somewhere else'. The distinction is very grey, and soemtimes even reversed, but in any given situation, one might sound more 'right' than the other. |
