wet layer/coat sample Explanation: There are destructive and non-destructive paint testing processes. The technique used in ST consists of taking a sample of the paint layer or coat while still wet by cutting a small portion at a specific area. The purpose of the sampling is to measure the thickness of the paint layer/coat and the paint quality as well in order to ensure the contractor is compliant with the specifications. The proposed syntax would be: ''....where the last wet layer/coat sample was taken,....'' -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2021-04-28 13:52:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- kta speak of ''film'' instead of layer or coat which render the meaning of ''couche'' more accurately I guess. https://kta.com/kta-university/calculating-wet-film-thicknes...
