français term

Abbreviation: S.I.

français vers anglais Droit / Brevets Droit (général)
From a Police Report [Procès Verbal]

This is found at the beginning of a statement, as follows:

"S.I. Nou n'avons pas fait de copie du document original...."

Does anyone know what "S.I." stand for?

Thanks in advance.

Sur interpellation

In other words, the police report or witness statement does not include the actual question asked by the police, just the answer from the person being interviewed. You could translate it by "In answer to a question".
(Was a "traducteur-interprète expert judiciaire" for 20 years so I'm absolutely sure of this one!)

loss to follow-up (LTFU )

Maybe someone will come along who's used to this acronym. Meanwhile, about all we can do is guess. So here's something that looks possible, from a series of "S.I." found in Termium:

"SI"stands for "sigle de Systeme International" But In this case, that's presumably "Oui"

"Oui" ,en reponse a une phrase interro-negative, Donc C'est une erreur . Si(miniscule)
