Hebrew term or phrase: מימוש
היי, שאלה לגבי המונח "מימוש" של חברה, כאשר הכוונה היא בעצם שהיא נמכרת לחברה אחרת ומפסיקה להתקיים כישות עצמאית. אני מכירה אפשרויות שונות למינוח באנגלית עבור "מימוש" בהקשרים שונים (exercise, disposal, liquidation, realization) אבל במצב המסוים הזה, האם יתכן שהכי מדויק יהיה פשוט sale? אשמח לדעתכם.

Explanation:
Sale is often the best translation of מימוש.
It can also be "exercise" as in the case of exercise of options.

Thank you! Simplest is most accurate sometimes but I needed the extra confidence this was actually right.

Asker: Thanks! I had that at first but I'm not finding solid support for this phrasing in searches - i.e. "realization of a company" specifically, so I'm not sure.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks! I'm leaning towards "sale" (revised from "realization" which was I had initially), although I feel I sometimes need to clarify "sale of the company" since it's not as obvious. Exercise for options, for sure, but would you say exercise of a company?

Notes to answerer
Asker: Interesting! I'll do some searches to see if it is commonly used to refer to an entire company. Thanks!

Asker: Trying to make sense of this for example: https://www.adamsdrafting.com/theres-more-than-one-way-to-sell-a-company/ Quote - "Whenever you’re dealing with disposition of a company, you have to bear in mind that there are three ways of accomplishing that: Sale of shares Sale of assets Merger"

Asker: From further searching I think this is a closely related term but it emphasizes the transfer of ownership, rather than the conversion of an asset into money - ie it may also refer to a gift or other form of transfer. I'm hesitant to use it in this instance but it would probably work in other contexts.
