A Japanese rock garden that exhibits the replication of artificial hills and fairyland. Explanation: 借景築山式蓬莱枯山水(様式の日本庭園) 蓬莱>“蓬莱仙境”=meaning the place is so beautiful that it is similar to a fairyland. There is no need to include Penglai which is indeed an actual place. In this case, it is used as a kind of analogy. 借景 uses/borrows the scenery outside the garden--> hence replication |
