provide hot ductility to non-metallic inclusions Explanation: (so that they behave in the same mammer as metallic materials and won’t be ruptured). Or,"provide hith-temperature ductility in non-metallic materials" I read the text as 非金属介在物を、熱間で(脆性から)延性になるように制御する-> 非金属介在物に熱間で延性をもたせるように制御する |

control of ductile characteristics .... Explanation: control of ductility by non metallic inclusion during heat treatment (hot rolling/deformation) |

control the level of non-metallic inclusions so that steel has ductility through hot working Explanation: As text says that non-metallic inclusions can be rendered harmless through lengthening during hot rolling, not to have ductility means harm for steel. The means of making non-metallic inclusions harmless is hot rolling (generaly speaking hot working). The condition that make it possible is to control the content of Al2O3 to approx. 20%. |
