teacher training students Explanation: This refers to teacher training students (in Brazilian Portuguese). Context would be needed, though, as in Portuguese from Portugal licenciatura is something completely different. Remark: (In Brazil) once graduated, a licenciando becomes a licenciado. This can be used by the person as a title. I myself am a 'Licenciado em Matemática pela Universidade de São Paulo.' A student would normally say 'estou fazendo licenciatura em Letras' rather than 'sou licenciando em Letras'. |
