Petition for a divorce
Excerpt from a petition for divorce:
4ª T., REsp. 1.065.209/SP, rel. Min. João Otávio de Noronha, j.8.6.10, Dje 16..6.10)."
Not sure about the meaning of those letters and numbers. Are the numbers indicative of dates?

DJe: Diário da Justiça Eletrônico
According to Marcílio M. de Castro:
Exemplo: Justiça do Trabalho (Labor Court System, Labor Courts).
For my translation, I chose "Judiciary". It seems to be a better match.
If you pay close attention to my translation, you will see that I kept one of the abbreviations in Portuguese. As far as the dates, yes, they must be translated, or else they might be misinterpreted (day for month, and vice versa). In regard to the "j", it makes no sense to keep it "as is", it means nothing to an American lawyer.
