Portuguese term or phrase: cordões contínuos
As uniões soldadas deverão utilizar cordões contínuos.

Ok, "uniões soldadas", I understand. But, "cordões contínuos"? I'm thinking it has to do with seamless welding, but I'm really not sure.

Anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

"Back-step" welding results in a continuous bead, but it is produced in short segments that are run opposite to the direction of the weld.
