Russian term or phrase: Вас любят больше, чем вы полагаете
Hello,
Does anyone know what this phrase means in the context of the below? It is taken from a horoscope/ fortune-telling 'role play'. The literal meaning sounds a bit strange in the context ('They love you more than you know it').

Очень часто одиночество – это счастье, только мы этого не осознаем. Познакомьтесь поближе с собой. Вас любят больше, чем вы полагаете.
Nathalie Wilson
The only person loves you more than you know - this is you.
Explanation:
I think the literal meaning is not correct in this case. In the text, it's recommended to spend time with yourself for self-knowing, so the solitude is not bad, cause the only person loves you more than you know - this person is you.

I think this is the closest to what would be said in English. In the end I opted to put it slightly more succinctly: 'The person who loves you most is you.' Thank you very much for your help!

literal meaning

Explanation:
I would stick to the literal meaning, you're loved more than you think you're
As in, you think someone fancies you a bit but his (her) actual feeling is much stronger

agree  Steven McGrath: The literal meaning is best, but I would replace "think" with "know." Parents often tell their children, "We love you more than you know."

"they" means "you"

Explanation:
I guess "they" is referring to "you" in that context.

If you don't have people around you, you should get to know yourself more closely. This way, you will learn that there is actually a person who loves you, and that person is yourself. Therefore, you don't have to be unhappy because you are alone and nobody loves you.

You are more lovable/worthy of love than you think

Explanation:
Perhaps this advice is for someone suffering from low self-esteem? In that case, the phrase could be encouraging that person to "get to know themselves better" and understand their own value.
