Russian term or phrase: (форма имени)
The name of one of my characters is Natasha. Her friend calls her "NatashKa", which is a more common (or folksy, if you will) way of saying it. So the author goes back and forth between the two depending on who talks to or about Natasha. Do you think the difference should be present in the translated text, and if so, how (because "NatashKa" will not have that buddy-buddy flavor for an English reader anyway, it could just probably create confusion)? Thank you for your suggestions.
